I did a calibration on my Westinghouse 42" 1080p LCD TV and the impact is very visible. Color is a lot more accurate after calibration. I used Spyderpro3 and the test image with rich colors shows huge difference before and after. I bought the calibration kit mainly for another CRT for photo processing but find it works very well on my LCD TV. Since I do some photoshop on LCD TV so it is actually very helpful.
