Hi,
So last month or so I upgraded my machine to a 2.13GHz Core 2 Duo (from an Athlon 64). Well, thanks to anti-piracy cd checks, I can no longer play Command & Conquer: Generals. Apparently, my new system isn't compatible. Not sure if the CPU or if its the new DVD-RW drive, and I'd like to get my hands on a no-cd crack and see if that works.
I am the legal owner of 2 copies of the game (my wife and I play it together) of both the original game AND the expansion pack. So don't give me shit about trying to pirate software; I own the game and it is because of the anti-piracy technology on the disk I can't play it (or maybe its not compatible with Core 2 Duo? but I didn't find anything on the net about this and no updates are available).
