If I remember right, my motherboard has some low voltage requirements for memory. Does this mean Corsair's XMS memory won't work with my board? I vagualy remember it being too high in voltage. I'm off to check both Intel and Corsair's sites for any info.

XMS2 will work fine.

for highest speed settings you need to up the memory voltage in the bios to 2.0 or 2.1

For first boot the SPD on the chip is programmed for 1.8V operation and JEDEC timings.

You should not have any trouble but check the specs of the exact module you are interested in.

I did some further reading on Corsair's forums, and their officialy answer is it will not work.
