CPU load running games on Dual Core?

well i'm running WOW in windowed mode at 1600x900 (yeah odd resolution, dont ask)

checking out my cpu load, i get a fluctuation between 30-70% load on both cores. i'm wondering, isn't all the load suppose to be balanced onto 1 core and leaving the other core free? or is this normal? what is everyone else's CPU loads when running games?

balancing the load across multiple CPUs is how it's suppose to work.

It only pegs 1 CPU when 1 thread needs more processing power than 1 CPU can handle.

If the processing needs are split across multiple threads (and nvidia drivers are multithreaded) then you'll see what you're getting.
 
Yeah it does that, balances on both cpus. If you want to assign it to one core, you'll have to go into task manager (or use winlauncherxp).
