This is weird...I'm trying to figure out what could be causing it.
I overclocked my e6400 to 3.2ghz, but did NOT overclock my 1900xt. I am using ATI Tray tool to increase the fan speed since I was already getting artifacts with the standard fan speeds. With my CPU overclock, my video temperatures aren't any higher then when not overclocked and now I can keep it under 75c. So it doesn't make a bit of sense that I would get artifacting. Anyone got any clues?
My hunch is the video RAM isn't keeping up with the overclocked CPU and RAM, but still artifacts are usually the result of overheating in the video card itself.
I confirmed it was the CPU overclock by reducinng my CPU overclock down to 375 FSB. I am stable though at 400FSB (3.2ghz) in SuperPI and dual Prime 95. Voila, artifacting gone. Weird, weird, weird.
