CS: Source not loading on A64 systems

kinda of going for a reality check here. I have no troubles loading the CS : Source game onto my P4 and AXp systems. But when I try to load to any of the A64 systems the game loads up and I get the double faced ops, then the game CTD's.

I've tried looking on the Steam Forums, but no help there.

The systems I'm using:

A64 3200+
3.3.3.8 Samsung 400
K8V Deluxe
Radeon 9800 Pro ( OC'd to XT )
Audigy2
SATA Hitachi

A64 2800+
3.3.3.8 Samsung 400
ECS 755-A2
Radeon 9800 Pro AIW
SB Live
SATA Hitachi

I've already tried deleting the local files and game content and reloading. Also tried dropping back to earlier CAT's.

Also ran a GF4 4200 (no OC) with the lastest Forceware and had the same thing happen...

it doesn't work on my system either, i hope HL2 works better then this when its released.

I am running an Athlon64 3200+ with an ASUS K8N-E deluxe and have had no problems at all except for a single in game crash, something to be expected from a beta anyways.

Did you perform the steps listed in the two big stickies in the Steampowered forums?

I had the same problem, and adding the -console -h 1280 -w 1024 flags as listed in one of the posts worked.
