DDRII 667 or 800

For someone who isn't going to be overclocking, and just doing normal system usage (gaming, encoding, etc.), would anyone recommend going ahead and getting DDRII 800 over 667, or just going with the 667?

depends on the system. usually ddr2-800 is only $10-20 more... but the performance gain is also very minimal.

Hey,
So if I buy a Dell system with C2D and want to buy RAM, what should I get? 533, 667, 800, 900, 1000, 1066? The choices are numerous and I am wondering what is the "best" and would it be a dramatic performance increase from 533 or 667? I am thinking about 800 RAM as that seems to be the sweet spot for performance memory. Input is greatly appreciated.
