My son needs a new PSU. He has a DFI 865PE-TAG, 250g HD, 120g HD, DVDRW, CDRW, 2x512DDR (not sure what else you need to know)... not a heavy gamer, mostly will be doing video and web design.
I've tried reading up on it but haven't gotten very far with understanding rails, volts etc...
Here's what we are considering:

Antec TRUEPOWERII TPII-550 ATX12V 550W

Antec NEOPOWER 480 ATX 480W

FSP Group (Fortron Source) AX500-A 500W

Any other comments, suggestions, criticisms (easy on the latter :) ) would be greatly appreciated! If anyone has one for sale, we would be interested, also.

Thanks!!!

Any of those will do, but you may find at least the Fortron cheaper at eWiz or Actbuy ;)

Thanks O. Wolf! Never dealt with either of those 2 companies but I'll check them out.

Neither have I actually - I'm from Canada ;)

Heard fairly good things about them though.
