Last night my PSU seemed to have fried, nothing would start yadda yadda. So today i went out purchased a new Antec for 60$ and started up again. After about 7 seconds the computer shut off. Now each time the computer will start running for just a second or two long enough to start the fan. Unplugged all the sockets except to the mother board and now it wont start up no matter what is plugged in. All that shows any life of the computer is a flashing LED on the front of the case and the little yellow light the the ethernet port. Does this mean anything, and how can i find out what it is?

this is my mobo:

This is going to sound really stupid but check to make sure that the voltage selection switch is set to 120v instead of 220v (I assume you are using 120v in your house).

Should be a red switch on the back of the power supply near the power plug. Make sure to set it to the correct voltage of your house. In the US that should be 120.

Take off the front pannel and make sure the power switch isn't jammed.
