Decent budget Skylake motherboard?

I've a feeling that most will suggest Asus, which I'm not necessarily against...

But for a z170 mobo, not certain that the Asus brand necessarily means SUPER DUPER quality either, would rather not pay (a good deal) extra for stuff I won't use.

Only one I'd not be interested in is anything by Gigabyte...Power issues in the past with them.

Add MSI to that list, had my many, not one, issues with them.
Check the Z170 Fatal1ty Gaming board, they are coming up with some solid boards at very decent prices.

I would second this recommendation. I stick to ASUS these days because I love their overclocking & fan management software, but MSI boards have always worked great for me.
