has anyone had a chance to play with each of these and compare?
same price, similar specs, similar features...but different panels.
there seems to be little reported on either model. i've heard that that the A02 revision of dell 2407 has fixed some of its banding problems. and a handful of newegg people have reviewed the acer 2423 favorably, along with one guy on this board. but there isn't much else except useless magazine reviews.
do both of these monitors have all the 1:1 and aspect scaling options that a casual gamer with a sub-19x12 video card might need? (the panel is mostly for desktop use, but who can say no to HL2...?)
if you had $700 to burn and had to pick one of these two, which would it be?
