I am almost done with my mods, so I thought I would show you all what I did to them.

Here are the pics:

All I have to do now is repaint the area where the epoxy ripped off the paint, and I am done! :D

What do you think of it?

I thought that they would have approved it right away, otherwise I would have uploaded them supload already. :( They should be in by tommarow though, and I am to lazy to do it again. :)

Ok, I uploaded them on supload since they are taking forever at techimo. Links in original post. :)

Ugh dells lol.

I like what you've done with the fan mounts on the window and the blowhole on top. It's a pain to do so you got prop's from me

pretty cool..... so are you sending it to me via UPS or FedEx? ill cover s&h

Well, for some unknown reason, UPS won't ship it, and FedEx said it would be around $2000! :D

Anyone have any ideas of anything else that would look good in there?

For some reason I found the duct over the cpu heatsink to clash... maybe dye it black or something?
I'd paint the drives the same color too, kind of is uneven on the front. Good work on modding though :)

looking nice - definetly do something with that duct

for your dark pics - turn down the ISO level on our camera and sit it on something stable to take the pics :D

Ok, I'll try black tommarow on the duct, when I hopefully have some time to fix the side to. :)

I'll also try to find some paint that matches the fan controller for the dvd burner in there.

can anyone tell me if a non dell mobo will fit in the dell 4600 case?

I do not think it will work.

Well, I have not gotten to anything recentely, I have had so many other things to do, when I decide what I am doing with the side window, I will do it, I hate doing a little at a time, it is so hard getting just a few things out at once in my case! :D

What do you think I should do with the side window? I have broken it twice, because the epoxy is not strong enough, would rivets look good? If I did rivets, should they be black, or silver to give a nice contrast?

Also, sorry I have not been replying, the menu that pops up when you click on "User CP" is not the same, as it is at TechIMO, at techimo, it tells you if someone has replyed since you looked at the thread, here it just tells you if someone has replyed recently, so I did not know anyone did reply.

Edit:

That's mor like it!

Great job on the mods, man.
Thank you! :D

can you tell me how you did that side panel of yours. also did u directly connect the case fans to the PSU or did u gget a fan adapter? and whats the thing beside the USB ports?

The side I cut out with a tin snips, for the "thing next to the usb port", do you mean the ones on top? I put in a fan contoller, that is what is in the top drive bay. Right now, I am controlling all the fans, other than the cpu fan, from the fan controller.

Hhehehe, next to my pc stands an old Dell, 550 mhz. In those days, the cases were still white :D perhaps ill cut an hole in it :D nice work m8

You should use window edge molding, that rubbery stuff that holds the window in. It doesn't need glue, looks good, and usually fits very nicely.
