I recently setup a new DFI Infinity 975X / E6600 Conroe system that has been performing nicely over the past few days. I can't, however, figure out how to disable the on-board IEEE 1394 VIA chip or the Secondary IDE channel. Both of these options are taking up a separate IRQ and I would like to remove them somehow (besides disabling them in the Hardware Manager).
For anyone that is familiar with this board, have you found a way to disable these options?? I am currently running the 9/13/06 BIOS and since I haven't had any problems with the system working properly, I haven't updated to the newer 12/01/06 BIOS.
