Dfi lanparty - lan/internet issues

When I use the onboard lan my connection speed seems to be capped. I'm using adelphia cable and before using the lanparty I was getting ~400kb downloads. Now it's more like 100 if I'm lucky. Ping times are better by about 10 ms though.

*note I'm using the drivers that came with the mobo.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using the nvidia 10/100 or the realtek gigabit lan?

I have no problems at all with comcast and dl speeds using the realtek. Haven't bothered to test the nvidia lan.

uh.. which chipset if your lanparty... considering there are 3 different lan party boards from dfi, this info could help..
