DFI NB Fan going out

I have a DFI Lanparty NF4 motherboard and I think the north bridge fan is going out and it is driving me nuts. Does anyone have a good suggestion for a replacement fan?
A 40mm fan from newegg.com
Or is it the heatsink and fan in one?
If so, there are many solutions at newegg.

I've got my eye on a Thermalright HR-05-SLI. Depending on which board you have, the HR-05 might fit. Supposedly you can run it passive and still get lower temps than the stock DFI cooler, or you can strap on a 70 or 80 mm fan if you like.
An HR-05 SLI would work very well, and be nice and quiet. Another alternative that many people, including myself have used is an Evercool VC-RE. http://shoppts.com/evvcvgcodnf4.html
