I was trying to screw in a cover on the back of the case and it dropped out. I think it touched something when it slipped and the computer shut off. I then turned it back on and it went on for a few seconds and then shut off. It just keeps doing that everytime I try to turn it on and the standby LED turns on while I turn the PSU on then when I hit the power button a red light comes on and then it shuts off everytime. I hope someone knows a way to fix it or if it is for sure dead. Thanks

This is the reason you should unplug a system when you mess with it. It sounds like you killed it. Kindof a long shot but try hooking up another psu to it and see if it works.

Ya tried that and still same thing... I thought when you kill it, no lights will come on?

Not aways, depends on what gets fried. It hit something not vital to the board powering up, just vital to working.
