Diablo2 Patch + Ladder Reset

Well now that the new patch is out 1.11, looks like a ladder reset is on its way by this monday.

Anyone wanna come back to the dark side and start some new ladder characters?

i'm re-installing it now, but the 'oh boy nostalgia' factor will probably wear off even faster than it did last time i tried this...

the 1.11 patch... i imagine they fixed duping, or they wouldn't have bothered with a new patch, right?

i just quit WoW, and so need a nice fanstay style game to fill the void between the CS and BF2 filled "bullet and gun bang bang i killed you" garbage...

i used to play the hell out of D2 back in the day, but got sick of it before the LoD pack came out (which i have).

i'll give it a whirl... look for isobelle or some similar spelling on there....


edit*** great. i lost my stupid LoD CD key... my lame-o LoD cd is mocking me in my tray... i have the original installed, and am going to launch it inna sec... ami going to only see like 5 games to join though? s\do people still play 'naked installs' of just d2?

i guess i'll find out in a few... :eek:
 
meh the games not fun for me anymore it took me and my firend like a year to pimp out our guys first ladder season, 2 ladder like 4 weeks then botting and man I was bored after that.

Diablo2 has lost the fun for me.
 
D2 was boring before the 1.10 patch with all the new items and super uber unique bosses like Diablo Clone, Lilith, Uber Meph, Uber Izual, Uber Duriel, Uber Baal, and Uber Diablo, and the new charms?

I think they've added enough things to warrant trying it out one more time. I'm trying to get enough players together between a few forums that we can level up together. If we can get a room full of 8 players we can rocket up in levels and we can get through normal level really easy.

Another cool thing i just found on the battle.net forums:
" One thing you forgot about Andy. I don't think Bliz has fixed this yet; it's been around for a while.

For Andy, you can activate the "quest" drop. Once you enter Cat 4, make a TP and go back to town. Talk to Cain or any other NPC. Talk about anything. Doing this resets the "flag" and makes Andy drop a "quest drop", even if you've already completed the quest.

Don't believe me? Try it a few times and see what happens. I don't have much time to MF; me doing three runs a day is a lot. So when I hit Andy 3 times earlier today, it's kinda nice to see 4 uniques plus 2x unique rings (manald, nagel) among other things. "

Me and a few friends will be playing Hardcore East Ladder when it resets on Monday if anyone wants to join us that would be cool.

Im making a barb for shouts, and my 3 other friends are all making sorcs :p
 
nope inorder to join a game you have to be matched up correctly on these 3 points. \

Expansion/Non-Expansion - Ladder/Non-Ladder - Hardcore/Softcore

If all of those dont match you are outa luck,
