Different GPU temperatures with nTune and Everest

After I upgraded the heat sink on my 8800 GT I noticed that my GPU temperature is WAY lower. Before and after the heat sink change I looked at the "GPU" sensor in Everest, usually 34C.

Well, I just installed nTune and it shows around 44C for my GPU temperature!

What gives? That's about the same temperature as my AUX sensor in Everest. Does nTune wrongly display that as the GPU temperature, or is Everest wrong? FYI, my "GPU memory" sensor is about the same temp as the "GPU" sensor.

What is Aux anyway?

So what does the Aux sensor (aka GPU in Everest) actually show?

And can I trust the "GPU memory" sensor in Everest?
