Disable AIW?

I have a AIW 9800 Pro 128 with the arctic cooling vga silencer rev.3. The CATV part of the card gives off a decent amount of heat and I don't even use it. I'm wondering if there is a way to disable(turn off) the CATV part to reduce heat.

I used to own an 98AIW Pro and the CATV you are referring to is the tv tuner, correct me if i'm wrong. I dont think that it produces any heat unless it's in use(?)

About disabling it, you might be able to disable it in the Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager and disable the option don't quote me. As always you might want to refer to the manual.

If you're worried about OCing it, forget it. Whatever minor amount of heat the tuner MIGHT put out wouldn't matter.
