Do i have to register my Visiontek 4870x2 somewhere to get the warranty?

This is the first time i went with ATI for a video card, all my other cards were Nvidia and from EVGA and i had to register my product on EVGA`s site to get the warranty.
 
Cmon someone here must have a Visiontek 4870x2

I just need to know if i have to register the product if i need to RMA it or something

I've never owned one of their cards, so I hope an actual customer of visiontek can confirm this....
 
it also depends on your location. Not all state/local laws allow a company to try and force you to register to be covered under the warranty. As far as I know this is not allowed in California and you are never required to register a product.
 
I'm not sure if it's required. But I registered my 4850 to be on the safe side.

... do need to find that receipt though.
