Well what do you know, video games actually help reduce the crime rate. Makes sense, kids are too busy snorting lines of GTAIV off of a hooker’s ass to be out committing crimes. :D

Lawrence Katz, a labor economist, has an intriguing item to add to the list of potential causes: video games. When I spoke to him recently, he was very careful to say it was only an idea. He is far from sure that it’s correct. But, as The Economist put it, “Larry Katz, a Harvard economist, suspects that video games and Web sites may have kept the young and idle busy during this recession, thus explaining the surprising lack of an uptick in crime.”

Alternate theory: Piracy. Theft of music, movies, games, books--anything that has an electronic form--has never been easier.

So, after they prove the theory.. can we get for free "High-speed" internet for everyone?(guaranteed 1MB DL, 333Byte UL).

Correlation not causation, I'm sure you can link the proliferation of porn to have the same result =p

Some kids are trouble through in through. The more they are sucked into the video games, the less time they have time to think up of and act upon some deviously evil plan.

the gaming industry would say that 90% of all video gaming is crime. And they want the bastards to pay.
