Does my X1900 hate to be overclocked?

Whats going on guys, just wanted to get a little more performance out of my aging X1900XTX 512 (Sapphire) but I can't seem to get this thing to steady up at any OC level. Even going through the CCC and just doing like 690/800 it'll crash in almost every game :( Any suggestions?

Did you try looking on google for some specs?

I don't OC my video card but is it possible your getting bottlenecked by something?
 
It might be getting too hot. If you're using the stock cooler that's very possible.

Otherwise, you might just be seeing the card's aging. If it gets worse (artifacting or unstable at stock speeds) RMA it.
 
I guess i'll just keep it at stock speeds then, no biggie. I'm planning a whole system upgrade in November/December when the new videocards come out :)
