Downgrade Windows 10 Pro to Home

Is there a way to downgrade Windows 10 Pro to Home without reformatting? My friend accidentally installed Windows 10 Pro and he only has a Home key. I remember a registry edit you could do with 7 and I'm wondering if you can do the same with 10.

If you just type in the Home key it should downgrade it. At least you can upgrade that way, not sure if downgrading that way works.

Type in 'About' into search and there is an option on that screen.

Still no easy way to downgrade without a clean install. I'm sure the are some registry tweaks you could possibly do, but there's no telling what state it'll leave your system.

Really the only option with W10 is to re install.
