I'm looking at using this software. The website notes that you can restore with 3rd party applications, but it doesn't list any. How would one restore an image file created by this program if their main drive died?
I've used driveimageXML several times and it works really well.
first awesome point to it is you can back up (create a hard drive image) with windows running. I can verify that this works.
Now to answer your question:
I can boot to CD with some sort of WindowsPE on it + restore my image. I believe the UBCD4WIN has DriveImageXML on it, so just download + build that. Boot from CD + restore your image file.
