Dual Core Support

I'm a little confused about the new dual core 64 CPUs as far as compatibility goes. Does the motherboard have to support the dual core cpu. Or will it work as long as it supports any 64 bit cpu???

Intel or AMD? Intel needs the 945/955 or NF4 intel ed.

AMD is a little trickier. Just look to see if the motherboard bios supports X2's. Depends on the board and the manufacturer. Most of the mainstream s939 boards support X2.
