e6400 - Max OC at stock voltage?

Hi, would anyone with an e6400 care to share their OC experiences with this CPU and the max that its able to go at stock voltage (1.325 - 1.35)? Is 3.0 - 3.2ghz doable?

The stock voltage seems to vary from motherboard to motherboard. Most are <1.35v, but the label on the box states 1.35v max, and mine will run right at 3.2ghz at that voltage, but no higher. Haven't bothered upping the voltage yet.

On my P5B-Deluxe wireless I am getting 3.2GHz.
BUT....I have BIOS voltage set to 1.325v, even though system monitor software still reads 1.3v.
So, I guess it depends on mobo and where you are reading voltage!
It appears that ALL e6400 will do 3.1GHz........
 
My e6400 won't boot at anything above 3ghz without 1.575v set in the bios.

did you lock the pci to 33mhz?
what is your week and code for your e6400?
 
My E6300 was good for 3300 MHz at stock voltage.

Most Micron D9 memory likes at least 2.2 volts when overclocking but the C2D runs incredibly fast at default voltage. Just make sure that whatever motherboard you use that you are actually getting at least 1.325 volts at full load on both cores using Orthos.

Of course. I have tried every possible setting to get it to work with a lower voltage and no go. From what I've heard, weeks don't matter.
 
Really depends on the chip and board you get (mainly the chip). Some will do it and some wont (even if they are near the same production run).

Also it depends on your memory if it can run that high (ddr2800 for 3.2ghz 1:1)

Mine will not run at over 3GHZ stably for more than 12hrs without more voltage (thats why i run at 2.8 with Stock Voltage).
