E8400 and Q9450 at Tankguys

Am I blind, where are the reviews for the Q9450 if they are out? Seems iffy

Edit: NVM found a post saying TankGuys got them in today and will be shipping them tomorrow after unpacking/repacking. Now to sit back and wait for the reviews...

Tankguys is 100% reputable... I pre-ordered a q6600 G0 from them and everything went smoothly... frequent updates on the status, quick shipping once they arrived @ Tankguys, etc etc.

Wow... they also show batch information. 8400's are now up to Q750. And no tax?!?

Looks like I'm moving to 45nm with a 8400...tired of waiting for vapor-ware 8500. Listed batch seems good checking EVA2000's testing on the Xeon verson of that batch over at I4memory.

Ooooo, please post some tests/benches, anyone who gets the Q9450 please!!! :)

I ordered a E3110, I'll be the guinea pig I guess...

Overnighting, should be here tomorrow.

hmmm... 4.1ghz at 1.4v? wow, pretty high voltage for a 45nm chip. hmmm... i think i'm going to hold off on gettin the q805 batch. they don't seem to be doin too hot. kids with the q7xx chips seem to be duin purdy durn gud thugh... damm... i'm all over the place because this q6600 just aint quenchin my thirst.

Nah 1.4 @ 4.1Ghz was the E8400 I had. Here is the Q805 Xeon 3110 I got from Tankguys.

A little more voltage got me this as my 24/7 -

You are fine up to 1.45v anyways. No biggie, this thing runs great, better OC'r than my E8400 cause it uses less voltage to get stable.

Anyone know anything about the Q801 E8400's? I'm trying to see whether or not it's a "bad" batch or something I did wrong. I can boot 4.0Ghz fine, but Prime95 fails and temps max out at ~61C. If I try 3.8Ghz, the second thread of Prime95 will always fail after a few minutes and temps max out at ~58C. Voltages are 1.38 and 1.42 respectively.

cool... well now that i think about it. the q805's haven't had many bought, and maybe like some of the q7xx's there are good ones and bad ones. like everyone i'm hopin for a super high oc. ;p seen a few e8200's do amazing things on a ga-g33m-ds2r, hoping the e8400's can do the same.

The Q750A205 E8400's they were selling seem pretty good...

The have the e8400 back in stock, but my gosh, $249

Newegg originally had something saying restock today, but that is now gone and still out of stock. I just finally bit at CLUBIT for $209 with a free game, so hopefully that works out ok, my first purchase with them.

So e84 or q94, omg!? 4.0-4.2 w/ perhaps less heat or find some friggin' quad apps and deal w/ 3.5-3.7. I'm currently on 3.5 E6400 and would love to do some divx right quick.

I really don't think we could go wrong w/ either. I just wish Intel would give me +1 multi via some sort of DLC system like Steam. :D I'm sure a lot of us would pay a premium for something like that...dream world, I know. :D
