Just a note to be safe with your case modding. I got shocked testing out an LCD screen, didn't pay attention and touched one of the caps with my finger.
very nice LCD, specs? does it have CCFL backlighting?
mind telling us where you bought it, price, ect?
anyways caps on things like that could vary from 10v to 1000v... you never know (unless you can read the rating) and even when powered off a cap holds its charge and can still zap you. also if its ccfl remember ccfl is high voltage too.
