embarassing admission: I don't know how to zero my ssd to regain performance

Have new parts coming today, so the gaming rig is going to be rebuilt tonight. I'd like to do a secure wipe, or whatever needs to be done in order to get my SSDs performance back up to it being as fast as possible. Can't give CrystalDisk Info on it ATM, as I'm at work.

Anyone give me a quick rundown?
 
Send it to me, and I will take care of it for you. It might take a couple of years, but that's life :)
 
What SSD is it and what OS have you been using it with?
