Encode a little FLAC on your CUDA card

A guy named Gregory Chudov at the Hydrogenaudio forums just released the first version of his CUDA-based FLAC encoder. For the first version, performance is quite good, so this may be of use to some of you with higher-end NVIDIA cards who do a lot of FLAC encoding, but for those with quad cores and a MP-aware encoding frontend, this won't benefit you much.

Gonna run some tests with my 3GHz Q6600 running EAC and this app on my 8800GT.

Thanks phide! Will try it out, though I don't think I ever used FLAC before.
 
It'll be interesting to see what kind of goodies come from DirectX Compute as time goes by. CUDA is great and all that but, limited to Nvidia GPUs of course.

Will be nice to see what's possible overall with any GPU you can throw at Windows 7.
