Enhance ENP-5150GH 500W and 4870 or 4890

I'm looking to upgrade my 8800GT to a 4870 or 4890 1GB card. Is my Enhance ENP-5150GH 500W going to be enough for either one (specs in sig)?

for $13 or whatever they're amazing... you could probably get away with an SLI or crossfire of their lower-end cards... 4890 / single GTX285 would be no problem..

Yeah, it was that cheap one for around $13. I think it's the exact same PSU as the Silverstone ST50EF 500W. Good to also know that a 285 will be fine as well.

Read somewhere a GTX285 + an I7 would pull around 400watts under full load... so a quality 500 watt is fine imo...

Also, 285 uses less power/produces less heat than the 280... so just be aware...

Just saying you got some headroom...
