eVGA Geforce 6800 GS on Dell 5150?

Which year is that Dell? If it's brand spankin' new, then it might be able to... but check out how many watts the power supply has in that Dell.

Yes, it would be brand new. How do I find out how many watts that PSU outputs? I can't find it on Dell's site.

just open your side door and look at the PSU. If there's no wattage, look at the amperages. if there aren't any, best bet you better go out and buy a new PSU rather than risk it and run that thing

No, wrong, The Dell PSU will be completely enough. I have had many friends who have upgraded graphics in a dell. Unless you by the PC P&C that is made for dells, then you would haev to buy a new motherboard as well because the pins on a dell PSU (Motherboard 24pin connector, all the others are standard.) are completely different than standard ATX.

So you will be fine with your PSU currently.

I have the same computer. They come with 305watt power supplys. My friend is running a overclocked 7600GT with no problem. Dell is known for underrating their power supplys.
