evga GTX 580: $485 evga GTX 580 SC: $515 @ mwave

I remember I had this 20% off evga coupon I got from them a few months back... hmmm..

on the side note what is up with evga still putting the old exhaust grill in the 580 lines
are they trying to charge people 5-10 dollars again for the new grill exhaust?

$200 extra for a water block....

Not exactly. 200$ for a real single slot 580 w/ a full coverage water block, a 10% over clock and (probably) a binned better chip than a random 580. If you're looking to water cool a 580 it's not a horrible deal. Koolance wants 120$ for their 480 block.

It's by no mean's a "[H]ot Deal", but it's not as crazy as it sounds.

[SSD Hater logic] GTX 580 is $500 / 1.5gb = $333/gb.... why would I pay that when I can get a 1gb GTS 450 that will still play any game out just fine for $95/gb!??? [/SSD Hater logic]

Back on topic: I can't wait to see a real-world run down of this thing vs. two 6870's in crossfire!!

"Probably a binned chip."

XSPC blocks are usually cheaper, around $80 or so. I'd just wait for those.
