Deal is beyond dead, they raised the price to $420, then they added a discount to bring it to the mid $300s, so if you use the $50 off code it'll still cost more than NewEgg, almost like they realized that they were losing big money $50 a pop.

Correct. The R390 is a better deal on paper. Just that the extra coin doesn't really effect me. Both cards are an excellent value either way. BTW the R390X is $85.00 more, not $100.00

Sorry your reply doesn't make any sense @ all. Seriously....Read it. Meaning buy a 980Ti GTX? Sure if you want to spend $600.00 I play mostly turned-based strategy games @ 1440P & I simply don't need that type of horsepower. Hell my old 2GB XFX 7870 held it's own at those resolutions.
