Exchange/Outlook Web Type Solution with Qmail

Hi all:

Are there any techniques/applications that can be used to mimic an Exchange/Outlook Web style service to users by using the Qmail MTA?

The best thing I can think of is to configure e-mail clients to keep a copy of every e-mail on the server. This way e-mails will be accessible remotely during any time.

Any ideas? Maybe there is a better way of doing this.

I think IMAP is what you want. Do some research and see if that is in face what you're looking for.

We use squirrelmail with a template from nutsmail.com with courier imap and amavisd-new.

I've used this for an exchange webmail because OWA prior to 2003 sucked.
