Fable, bugged shadows?

I've just started playing Fable and I'm having issues w/the shadows. It's hard to describe but it's like it's displaying the shadow map rather than the shadows or something. They're too start, move in a strange way and they have weird light stripes through them.

I'm running an X1800XT with Cat 5.12 drivers. If nobody has a quick fix I'll try rolling back my drivers and see if that solves it.

The shadows option bar shouldn't be put at maximum as it it bugged and do not work properly. Try running it at the setting before the max.

I'm not sure about the PC version but I remember the Xbox version had some problems with the shadows.
