Fan control?

I have a motherboard with an i5 that came out of a dell computer. I put it in a new case. There was a fan connected to a 3 prong fan connector on the motherboard which I am not using anymore.

Every time I boot up the computer I get fan control problem F1 to continue or F2 to go in safe mode.

Is there a way to turn this fan control (or whatever it is) off so it doesn't think there is a problem?

If there is, it'd be in the bios. From my experience, dell bios aren't all that robust, so there may not be an option.

You could just plug a fan into that port.

Yeah not in the bios. Will probably just add another fan.
