Are there any fan controllers out there that allow you to control 4 fans (with a 3 pin controller adapter) for cheap? I'm not looking to control each individually - all of them will be at the same speed.

Or, alternatively, would it work if I were to solder the connections of all the fans' 3 pin connectors together, and plug the 3 pin adapter connected to all the fans into a single-fan controller?

Has anyone seen a PCI slot multiple fan controller?

I Don't understand why no one seems to make these.

I remember seeing one in the "show your workstation" thread... but I don't remember the make/model. Personally I use the Kaza Master, not "cheap" though - about $40 ish.
No idea on quality but FrozenCPU has these:

Hidden option (possibly a fire hazard?) #74:
One of these:

and two (or is it 3?) of these:

Should be < $15

Power comes from a molex (via a not included adapter), or a 3 pin mobo connector. There is a small PCB that (presumably) limits the volts based on the knob.

As to soldering things together... past my area of expertise, sorry.
