Fan speed controller

Has anyone tried out one of those controllers? They are pretty cheap but I'm not sure if the quality is there. Anyone have any experience with them?

Hmm... Looks sort of scetchy. It's worth it if you really don't have the funds, but for a bit more (including their shipping) you can almost get a fan controller here.

$20 or so shipped gets you a proven Sunbeam Rheobus... I wouldn't bother with sketchy eBay listings.

Yeah, I've had a fan controller go up in smoke - I'd be careful or just go the simple switched or static 5/7v via the wires method.
