Finder thumbnail "view"

I'm just curious if there is any way to get a thumbnail view of all images inside a folder. I know Windows has this by default, but there doesn't seem to be anyway to do this on the Macintosh. I know you can view by columns and select a file for a "preview," but that just shows one item.

Open the folder you would like to thumbnail, then hit Cmd-J. Select "Show icon preview."

Make sure you're in icon view (cmd-1), then turn on icon preview and increase the icon size to the maximum.
