the ram is too expensive, why not get crucial value or something.. i dunno, u'll save 100 bucks

OK, cool. I just got it because newegg offered a combo with the video card. I didn't realize it was overpriced. Swapping out.

edit: Is this RAM any good?
 
my thing is, ram is funny. for double the price, you only get roughly 2-5 percent really world increase. so why not save it, right?

yea, never used that ram personally, but i hear it's good

Yes it is because it has Micro ICs, so that set will be pretty good for some heavy duty overclocking.
 
What do you plan on running the system at? The HZ sticks are great for overclocking. If you don't plan on running them past DDR2-800 speeds, then just get the NQ sticks instead (2GBNQ).
