Fitting Options

So I'm putting together my system with a DD-D5 pump. But I'm running 3/8" hose.
I bought a 1/2"-3/8" adapter that I was gonna use right out the top of the pump.
My question is should I do it that way or should I run 1/2" out the pump and into the Apogee block and 3/8" out of there?

Probably really doesn't matter where you reduce the tubing size. Just do it wherever it makes sense.

Although many people will argue otherwise, it doesn't make enough difference to matter. Run it in anyway you need to make your life easier.
