Flashing my I/O magic

I looked at the website and there are no flash updates for my dvd rom. My player sucks and was hoping a flash would fix it. Does anyone know where I can get a compatible flash update for this? It has sucked since I bought it. It pause's quite a bit sometimes Its in my rig below so I know I am not having memory or cpu issues

What is the model number? I believe that the drive is a rebranded drive from a common manufacturer. Once you find out which one you may be able to get updated firmware of of their website.

Magic DVD 16X

Thats all it says I wish I knew the common manufacturer then I would flash it. It looks like a generic DVD rom. I am so frustated with it I am tempted just to flash it with something else just to try it.

When your system boots and the drive is detected it will most likely post the model number. Or you can check the device manager is windows.
