FLECOM got mowed.

Finally after a very long and [H]ard chase, I mow FLECOM ........... :D

I never thought I would ever get to this point even a year ago.

ROC not going to last much longer at the top.

Luck ............ :D

Big day for the team! Co 'grats man!!

More like Tiger brought out the "Bad Boy".......erg, i hate those commercials....

Well Tiger.... I can say you earned that green arrow.

Fold/Mow on!

Congrats!!! Something for us little guys to gun for :D

Tiger - you are kicking out 180,000+ PPD - Totally Awesome

I don't think I will be able to catch you , even with my new gainestown systems I am building.

Keep up the great work!

Here's a picture of his mower its a Scag "Tiger Cub". Never mind the American Flag in the background since he lives in the UK. Just work with me here, OK?

Congrats Tiger! Perseverance pays off in the long run.

Got any pics of your farm? I am sure it has been posted in the past. Just curious what the #1 folding farm in the world looks like..

Grats on the achievement man! That is awesome!

My farm is only 6 boxen strong now.

CPU's:-
1x dual E5355's @3.4 Ghz.
5x i7 920's @3.9Ghz
All 6 are running bigadv for just over 24k PpD each.
GPU's:-
2x 9800GX2's, shaders @1728 Mhz.
3x 9800GTX's, shaders @ 1890 Mhz.
9x 9800GTX+'s, shaders @1944 Mhz.
All 13 GPU's are running the GPU client for around 4.8-6.8k PpD bepending on what card gets which protien.
But I'm thinking of adding another 9800GX2 back into the farm.

I should level out at around 210k PpD with a bit of luck.
That should put me around 20th in overall PpD ..........

So not a lot of hardware, but what I have is built to maximize my PpDpWatt.
At the moment I'm running at ~60 PpDpWatt.
That up from ~40 PpDpWatt from the last farm.
That was from before I upgraded to i7's and started to run bigadv.
But it's still well down from my max of 9 boxen running.

Luck ............. :D

I still love the fact you have a skulltrain setup.
That is badass! You have one hell of a system there Tiger.
It is still better then my Dual X5550 System cause you can overclock!

I like my Skulltrails system .......... :D

When I was running with the standard work-unit and Q6600's, it was lowering the whole PpDpWatt due to its higher power draw.
But with bigadv work-units it comes back into its own.
~24.8k PpD from 400 watts pulled vs ~24.8k PpD from ~370 watts pulled for my i7's.
My Xeons are at 3.4 Ghz, I've had to clock my i7's to 3.9 Ghz to match them.
But it does help that I got the lower wattage Xeon's in it.
Its main downside now is the 8Gb chipset limit on ram.
Plus the ram & chipset run very hot, so active cooling is needed for any type of overclock..

Luck .......... :D

Congrats Tiger, big accomplishment there!

So... uh, is there anywhere over there that you can get a couple of tamales? I'm only asking because I'm concerned that if we try and send you some, they might not be all that tasty by the time they actually get there.... and a moldy tamale is not a good thing....

Anyhow, good job dude, keep it up!!

Congratulations Tiger, you are definitely one of the [H]ardest of the crew.

Hats off you your dedication sir. Those are some impressive numbers, and I am sure an equally impressive energy bill

Nice work Tiger. Nice clocks on those i7's! :) Thanks for all your hard work!

Jeez tiger I hope you never get audited by the IRS. They'll never believe where all your money goes!

Also I'm building some i7 rigs. I think the Core i7 860 would give you a bigger ppd/w because from all the reviews it seems to consume at least 30 W less at load then a core i7 920. What do you think?

I think tiger is thinking ahead. It would not be shocked tiger starts dropping 6 core chips in when they come out (and you don't have to sell a kidney to get one)

An interesting question is would it actually consume less at high overclocks, and can it reach 4+Ghz with the same voltage as the 920 or does it need more....that might level out the playing field.

Keep in mind that memory speed/bandwidth makes a noticeable difference with bigadv. Tiger has already confirmed this as has some others. This makes the X58 platform with triple-channel memory much more ideal.

I was thinking along the lines of a 6 core upgrade.

Plus I heard rumours that socket 1156 may not like high voltages.

So it may be slightly cheaper to run but long term upgrades/life may not be so good.

Also I cannot get the socket 1156 bolt-through kit for my Ultra 90's here in the UK.
Which would have forced me to buy whole new heatsinks for my CPU's.
And then you have the problem of finding good 4U/92mm fan heatsinks to fit a socket 1156 MoBo.
I just got the bolt-through kit and some new, high CFM, 92mm fans.

Luck ........... :D
