Alright so in DOD:S and CS:S my 3 month old dell 2005fpw is flickering in bright spots. Some random guy tells me that it's caused by cell phones and is irreversible which scares me. Is this true and if so does anyone know if dell warranties their monitors?

Flickering scariness

I have a working theory that it may be my older drivers causing the flickering. I have to use 78.01 series drivers or else maya 7 won't work. But I haven't had the problem until recently, pherhaps source updated without me catching the difference until now? Anybody else running 78.01 series and not having issues with Source?
It also seems to be more frequent on HDR maps but that could be due to the increased frequency of brights.

IMO, your problem is that you bought a Dell.....
If it's just 3 months old, you should still be able to RMA it, but I'm not exactly sure how long Dell's warrenty lasts.... My Samsung is 5 years for that kinda crap...
