Thanks to everyone who's put up with me whining about not being able to find either an AGP XT-PE or 6800 Ultra in stock. Tonight, I found a Gigabyte XT-PE in stock at a reputable vendor, and ordered it along with the rest of my system.

The final system:

MSI Neo2 Platinum
AMD FX-55 (ClawHammer)
Gigabyte X800 XT-PE
OCZ EL Platinum Rev. 2 1GB (2-2-2-5)
OCZ DDR Booster
Dangerden copper TDX waterblock w/lucite top, extra O-ring, 3/8" OD barbs, 5 nozzles
2 WD Raptor 74GB 10kRPM SATA HDs
Pioneer DVR-108 dual-layer DVD-R
Logitech MX1000 Mouse
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Gamer Limited Edition
Ultra X-Connect 500W Modular Green UV PSU
Arctic Silver 5
2 Vantec EX-Swap 3.5" SATA removable HD racks
FrozenCPU Green UV dye

...and, for the 533MHz P4 (1GB RDRAM, Radeon 9700 Pro) it's replacing, I got a HTPC case ( http://www.digitalconnection.com/Products/Cases/sstlc03.asp ), an Arctic Cooling Super Silent 4 HSF, and a PcHDTV HD-3000 ( http://www.pchdtv.com/ ) HDTV tuner card. I'm going to run MythTV on this system, and also play video games on it (connected via VGA to my 42" plasma in the living room).

Woot!

Thanks. It'd better be, for the over $3000 I just dropped on the parts. That doesn't include things like the case (Lian-Li PC75), waterpump, reservoir, fans, radiator, monitor (Dell 2001FP), switch (Dell PowerConnect 16-port Gigabit switch), mousepad (SteelPad 4S), UPS, speakers (Logitech z680), or chair (Herman Miller Aeron), which I already had.
:D

damn nice rig!

i'd do darn near the same thing cept i aint got $1200-1300 for a good amd fx-55 based cpu/motherboard/memory combo at this point in time. maybe after christmas. :)
