I was hoping this would happen, this is instore only afaik (just opened add in seattle times newspaper right now)

great deal, too bad it's over

i went to the palo alto frys today around 1pm, and they had 1 sata left, and about 60 ata/100's left, so i grabbed the sata and headed for the checkout.

now i've got somewhere to put all my.......assorted movies

Yeah I picked one of the SATA ones up today. The seagate MIR rebate should also work on top of this for another $26 off making it nice an hot for me!!
 
Bought 2 of these at fry's a couple of weeks ago for $129. Went in today and they pricematched. YAY $60 refund.

Me too. Hoping to find a deal on >=500GB for the Tivo some time in the next year (hence the need for PATA). This deal almost had me.
