Fry's in Austin had this in the Friday ad, just wondering if this was a good deal. I think separate it would have been $280 for the proc and $380 - $40AR for the Shuttle. I went and checked it out, took it out of the box and got a feel for the dimensions of it. VERY small, definitely smaller than all the other comparable offerings on the shelf, and I liked the overall design. Would the 1066MHz FSB of the CPU be wasted on this board though since it only supports 800MHz memory?

Newegg's closest deal comes with a E6700 and costs $625 + shipping.

800mhz memory is standard for most motherboards out there today... it'll run at a ratio with the FSB not downclock the FSB to 800mhz.

Should be a nice little setup... I had a SN25P back in the day and loved it.

CPU will run @ 266mhz (Quad pumped: 1066) if its a e6X00
CPU will run @ 333mhz (Quad pumped: 1333) if its a e6X50

Memory will run @ 400mhz (Dual)

So you will either downclock your memory out of the box, or have it run at some multiplier other than 1:1.
