One Self Built Portaphile V2 portable headphone amplifier.
This amp features AD744 op-amps with the output taken from the compensation pin, Single BUF634 for the left and right channels two on the ground channel, there is no class A bias but otherwise all of the internal switches do function as intended. over sized 1000uF FM main capacitors, A red LED and a lovely natural aluminum Hammond 1455 series enclosure.

My asking price is $50 shipped for US residents only. :)

i guess it uses 9V batteries? is this rechargable? :)

looking for a good amp to pair with my DT-770's i'm about to buy :). 250ohm version :D

awesome. so how long does the 9v power it for? :)

do they even make 9v that can be recharged in a charger from say walmart? :D

seeing this made me think of headfi....which is still down. makes me wanna cry :(
but a great amp. looks like you did a really clean job too.

So I assume the channels are always on?

Of course they are.
"turning on" the output transistors in the op-amps (to reduce crosstalk) would be kind of a waste because they are bypassed. ;)

(when the output is taken from the comp pin in the AD744 you bypass the op-amp's internal output stage which dramatically improves clarity)
