For sale or trade is my 17 inch Macbook Pro, not unibody.
Specs:
2.16 Core 2 Duo
2GB RAM
640GB Internal Hard drive
DVD-RW
Wifi/bluetooth
Matte 17" screen (an extra $250 option) - This means that you can actually use your laptop in direct sunlight. All new apple laptops have that "glossy" screen, but this is matte so it does not reflect light. The result is a much clearer picture with lights around you.
The good:
Outside of the laptop is in very good condition 8/10
3 USB ports! FW400, FW800
Great screen no dead pixels
Everything on it still works, speakers are very loud
Boots into 10.6.8 like a charm.
Still better than most laptops today.
The bad:
The original charger died, so its not included.
Seeing them go on ebay for $4-500, looking to get $350 - > 340 OBO shipped. Got a new macbook about 3 years ago in 2011 and kept this one for backup. Hasn't really been used at all in the that time, which is why the battery is dead. It still powers on and I can show you that it works. Great for a couch laptop, or for a home desktop replacement. I'll take trades too!
Also selling a wireless Apple keyboard for $35.
I also have a Motion Computing LE1700 with a Core2Duo and 1.5gb Ram and 60GB HDD. Comes with one small battery and one large battery, but they do not hold charge. Will also include the stand charger and an extra battery charger. I do not, however, have the DC converter. Boots up and runs windows 7 just fine. I'd like to get $120 shipped OBO
